I am a plant enthusiast and ceramic artist living/making in the New Hampshire/Maine Seacoast.
After years of curating my own extensive and unusual plant collection I found myself frustrated with the confines of traditional containers used for plants. Interested in using space more effectively and creating a more unique ‘plantscape’, I revisited an early love of ceramics. My work combines my interests in creating unique interior landscapes and architecture reclaimed by the natural world. My love of plants and interior landscaping has influenced most of the work I have created over the years. Windows, light and shadows have recently become a theme in my work. Exploring the creation of pathways of light inside clay structures.
